MAJOR TRI-COUNTY UNITED WAY CAMPAIGN DONATION
Barbara Sweet, Executive Director of the Tri-County United Way, announced today the results of the Glens Falls National Bank and Trust Company internal United Way campaign. Contributions to the Tri-County United Way by the bank and its employees totaled $98,374, up over $5,000 from last year. Ms. Sweet noted that Glens Falls National Bank has supported the Tri-County United Way every year since the organizations’ inception, eighty-six years ago.
Neil Tatar, President of the Tri-County United Way Board of Directors, expressed how important this major donation is to the member agencies of the Tri-County United Way. He remarked that given the current economy, the agencies are seeing more need in the community, and expressed that this donation would make a significant impact on the work of the member organizations.
